Yellowstone 2003

Yellowstone 2003 So far, this has been the greatest outdoor adventure of my life.  Our group spent five days in the Yellowstone backcountry covering over 55 miles.  We hiked the section known as Cascade Corner and experienced the best Yellowstone has to offer:  waterfalls, wildlife, canyons, hotsprings, and solitude.  This video is also my personal favorite of the trip videos.   This was simply one of the greatest events of my life.  Photos: Click

Whitney Wave Subway 2015

Whitney Wave Subway 2015 It is hard to imagine a trip with more bucket list places crammed into four consectutive days.  The tallest point in the lower 48 in Mt Whitney and the lowest in Badwater Basin of Death Valley were visited on the same day.  The following day included the Wave and God orchestrating a reminder of how He is in control no matter

Island Life-Cumberland Island

Island Life-Cumberland Island This trip started as a canoe trip to Cumberland Island, but weather and paddling conditions caused us to turn back.  We took the ferry across instead and hike a few days on the island.  Photos: Click here

Havasu 2007

Havasu 2007 The family returned to the beautiful oasis of Havasu Creek in March 2007.  The crew had a great time, but mother says she'll never hike again.  For more information about the area, check out www.havasupaitribe.com. Havasu 2005

Havasu 2005 A long time dream was to visit the waterfalls of the Havasupai Indian Reservation.  Our group had a great time swimming, hiking, "climbing," and exploring abandoned mines.  My family returned March 2007.  For more information about the area, check out www.havasupaitribe.com.  Photos: Click here 009_Havasu Pack List Starring Bobby and Brad Treadwell with Morgan Griffin and Jared Morgan.

Grand Teton 2013

Grand Teton 2013 Fantastic trek along the Teton Crest trail.  Ford Nixon, Russ Cummings, and Charles "Papa Bear" Sutton joined me for four days of hiking covering over 40 miles.  We camped at Marion Lake, Sunset Lake, and South Fork Cascade Canyon.  The scenery and company will be hard to beat on future trips.  Photos: Click here Starring Brad, Ford Nixon, Russ Cummings, and Charles

Grand Canyon 2007

Grand Canyon 2007 Erin and I hiked from Rim to Rim to Rim over five days.  The hike covered over 45 miles and 20,900ft. of elevation change.   God was with us and it was definitely one of the most enjoyable hikes of my life. Photos: Click here Starring Brad Treadwell and Erin Henderson.

Glacier 2007

Glacier 2007 This trip changed my life, though we only hiked Glacier before returning home.  The heat was setting record highs, but the scenery was spectacular.  Our rental company was unable to fill our reservation for an economy car, so we were upgraded to a 2007 Hummer H3.  Overall we visited Glacier National park and Polebridge, MT with short stops in Yellowstone and Grand Tetons.
