Utah 2014 Great trip to one of my favorite states. We enjoyed canyoneering in Zion, stargazing at Bryce, mountain biking in Moab, and many great hikes through slot canyons and over desert country. Northwest 2015 This was Iris' first cross country trip. Great memories with Gran, Papa, Mommy, and Daddy. We saw orcas. We biked the McKenzie River trail. We visited Mt Rainier, North Cascades, Crater Lake, and Olympic national parks. We paddleboarded Crescent Lake. Iris also touch her last remaining ocean water bordering the continental United States. Colorado 2014 One of the most flexible trips of my life. Are main plans were altered when weather did not permit a climb to the top of Longs Peak in Rocky Mountain National Park. We eventually climbed Mt. Elbert, the highest in the state, after sandboarding in Great Sand Dunes National Park, paddleboarding near Denver, and visiting Maroon Bells in Aspen. California 2012 Epic roadtrip through the best of California. Yosemite 2011 This epic adventure truly challenged my faith. Though the trip was planned in January, record breaking snow pack and severe weather predictions threatened the well laid plans. Against the odds, we experienced near perfect hiking weather. Thunderstorms passed along the horizon yet never threatened our group. Rain showers came during the night with significant snow accumulations during our first night in the backcountry.
