Glacier 2007

This trip changed my life, though we only hiked Glacier before returning home.  The heat was setting record highs, but the scenery was spectacular.  Our rental company was unable to fill our reservation for an economy car, so we were upgraded to a 2007 Hummer H3.  Overall we visited Glacier National park and Polebridge, MT with short stops in Yellowstone and Grand Tetons.  While hiking in Glacier, I begin feeling the need to return home, and to make the answer clearer, God “allowed” me to severly twist my ankle.  I knew then I would be unable to enjoy the remainder of my plans.  The decision to return home early provided a great opportunity to visit with Erin, friends, grandparents, and family.  I learned that hiking is not that important when compared to those things just mentioned, and I will likely remember the feelings of the Glacier 07 hike for a long time.  Photos: Click here
