Stereotypes

This study challenges our thoughts on stereotypes.

Elevator Speech

God makes it clear that we are all equal in his eyes.

There is no conclusive justification for stereotyping or racism in the Bible.  The racial interaction discouraged by the Bible is on the basis of worship of false gods.

It is misguided to judge a person’s worth by a stereotype since there are clear exceptions often more common than we may think.

It is misguided to judge someone by intelligence.  Plato, said that the person capable of the greatest good is also capable of the greatest evil.

We should embrace our diversity.  Marvel in God’s craftsmanship.  We are made it the image of God, and we can all learn from the variety of intellect, emotional capacity, social style, and artistic aptitude of people from all walks of life.
